Researchers are able to use crucial features needed for research activities (e.g., collection of references,
collaboration with co-authors, authoring, publishing articles, etc.) freely through AccessON.

Search & Collect

Go to Discover Go to Collab GATE
You are able to search papers and get ideas on AccessON Discover.
  • It is possible to use open access papers from around the globe in an easy and convenient fashion.
  • Once you find a paper you want, save it under MY FAVORITES.
  • While searching an article on several websites, if it is open access, the Chrome extension ‘Collab GATE’ icon appears on the left.
  • Click the icon and access the paper right away.
  • Click the ‘Collab’ icon on top and save in the ongoing project. Then, you are able to share it with co-author and refer to it as a reference while writing a paper.

Co-authoring

Go to Collab
You are able to do co-authoring and self-archiving with AccessON Collab easily.
  • It is possible to write a paper, using a standard template provided by AccessON on Collab Pen.
  • You can shorten the preparation process for submission compliance efficiently when using a standard template.
  • The references collected through Collab Gate are auto-converted according to a journal citation style such as APA, Chicago or Harvard.
  • You can make notes about what needs to be edited so you can communicate with your co-authors freely.
  • It is able to save and deposit pre-prints on AccessON through ‘Self-archiving’.

Self-archiving

Go to My Repository
You are able to manage, disclose and disseminate your research outcome on AccessON through ‘Self-archiving’.
  • It is able to deposit and disclose your papers published on journals behind paywall as well as open access papers by referring to the self-archiving policy by journal searched on AccessON.
  • You are able to disclose pre-prints and post-prints and get comments from peer researchers.
  • Deposited papers are indexed in AccessON Discover to be accessible by AccessON users depending on the users’ choice.

Monitoring

You are able to check the information about journals and academic conferences on AccessON-linked system ‘SAFE’.
  • It is possible to check if a paper is reliable before submission.
  • You can check if the conference is legitimate before attendance.

Submit & Peer Review

Go to ACOMS+
You are able to submit your paper and get peer review on AccessON-linked system 'ACOMS+'.
  • ACOMS+ offers high-quality article submission & peer review processes.
  • It is possible to disclose the data from open peer review or paper writing process depending on the journal policy or author’s choice.
  • Papers written on Collab can be submitted to ACOMS+ directly without leaving Collab.
  • Paper and journal information, author information, and fulltext files are automatically connected through the ACOMS+ and AccessON linkage, ensuring easy paper disclosure (self-archiving, journal repository, etc.).

Manage
Research Activities

Go to My Activity
You are able to manage the history of research activities such as paper submission, peer review and publishing on AccessON My Activity.
  • You can monitor the history of ACOMS+ paper submissions and peer-review process.
  • You are able to check self-archiving papers on AccessON and projects on Collab in an integrated fashion.
  • You are allowed to manage papers on AccessON through ORCID and print them in a report form.
